YU Pik-yim
Hong Kong-born Yu Pik-yim was awarded scholarship by the Beijing Dance Academy upon graduating from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). Yu joined the Hong Kong Dance Company after her return
Completed Master of Creative Industry (Dance Teaching) at the Queensland University of Technology (2005). Currently Lecturer in Chinese Dance at HKAPA and Artistic Director of T&Y Creative Arts
Choreograph works received numerous awards including the Grand Prize in Choreography at Shenzhen Dance Competition (2006), Hong Kong Dance Awards (2007), First Place in the Barcelona Dance Award (2007), and Grand Prize at the Prague Dance Festival (2009)

Fall was over and Winter came…
In the silent of the night, the spirits of snow are flying in the dark blue sky, appearing to tell the tales of how short and splendid their lives are.
In 2009, Yu won the Grand Prix at the 2009 New Prague Dance Festival Competition for The Snow and Thousand Lives.
