Ivy TSUI

Independent choreographer specialising in site-specific dance, and interested in nature and life. Tsui is the recipient of Award
for Young Artist (Dance) at the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2015.

Tsui enjoys dancing among the crowd and sharing the living moment beyond any boundaries, where she made QuanQuan, a site-specific dance work in 2011 in Beijing. The work was re-created and performed at the HK Kubrick Bookstore in 2012 and toured to Tallinn in 2017, Stockholm and Montreal in 2018.

Strong passion and sensitivity towards flowers inspire Tsui’s choreographic works including Water Lilies (2017), Morning Glory (2016), Dehydrated Flower (2015), Frangipani (2015) and few more which were commissioned by the Hong Kong Arts Festival and the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Tsui was recently selected as one of the three Hong Kong artists to join the “Creative Meeting Point: Hong Kong x Finland” project supported by the West Kowloon Cultural District.
